More than a haircut
We close the sidewalk out front more than most.
A shop only stays on the same corner for a decade if it acts like part of the block, not just a storefront on it. So a few times a year we push the chairs back, set up folding tables, and hand the sidewalk over to the neighborhood: local vendors, a cooler of lemonade, somebody's kid playing guitar too loud.
- Sidewalk pop-ups. Local makers and food vendors set up right out front.
- Downtown events. We're usually one of the first shops to say yes when Main Street asks.
- Familiar faces. Most of our stylists have been cutting hair on this block for years.
